Hi afro

My name's Christy, I live in the Blue Mountains of NSW, Australia.  I'm a mum of 3 pretty cute kids (4, 2, and 6 months) and married to a very tolerant man tongue, who puts up with my many "projects".  I've been knitting for about 7 or 8 years on and off (between my many other crafty hobbies).  I love knitting but find it can be quite an expensive hobby, especially when I seem to rarely be happy with the finished project.  I'm pretty tall so usually find that garments that I knit for myself are either too short in the sleeves (which I can fix) or in the body (which I'm not too sure how to fix, especially if it's patterned).  My favourite knitted garment is a jumper that I did for my husband some years ago.  It turned out really well, much to my great surprise shocked.

I'm currently kntting a lacey bolero for my oldest daughter and so far have pulled it apart about 3 times (I'm hoping that it's not my dodgy knitting).  Hopefully I can find the help, inspiration and motivation that I need here.

Christy
