Hi Claire

The Wool Shack will be getting stock of Pont Rosewood Needles in about June/July 2004, so keep an eye out on the website for new products.

They look beautiful, so hope you wont be disappointed.

Take care

I bought some absolutely beautiful knitting needles from a woman in California who has them made for her from solid pieces of sustainable-yield rosewood in Mexico.  Mine are 14" long with 3" additional of really intricate, complex turnings (each size has different turnings - a frend has her set of 4 pair and it's just lovely.  They were $45, my size 10's.  She also does shorter 1" intricate tops, which are less expensive, and she does 10", 12" and 14" lengths.  They are a joy to use.  Nicer than bamboo.  She does mail order. You can get a catalogue by asking deborahdoy@aol.com
Good luck to all,
Barclay
