I'd like to share with you all how great knitting has been for me over the past few months as a theraputic activity.
I had a car accident on Anzac Day last year and have been in rehab since to try and get better. I am getting better, but I found that the days at home go so much faster if I can put my mind to something creative.
I learnt to knit when I was a teenager, and now at 26, have picked it up again. I'm so excited

I started by making some beautiful scarves for gifts and moved on from there. (thanks for those that offered me suggestions).
Knitting is a great way to get your mind off pain etc and to watch something beautiful appear before your eyes.
I just wanted to encourage others that during tough times, knitting can be a rewarding, comforting and uplifting activity - good for the mind and soul
