Hi Sonja, are you flying overseas or within Australia? I have heard that for some reason the overseas flights are okay with it as long as you use circulars but domestic flights within Australia don't allow it. Someone with a personal experience may be able to varify this. I have heard a good tip if you want to try it out for yourself, take your knitting with you but have it in a post pack with your home or forwarding address on it with right amount of postage stamps, so that if it is confiscated it can be sent on to you
