Well,
There's the cable cardi left over from winter, oops, and then the cotton I bought a month ago has been screaming for some attention ...... and then I opened up the latest Creative Knitting magazine and I REALLY want to knit the Laura Long purple wrap cardi for my teenage daughter. The only question is, will knitting with that yarn drive me nuts while it's 30 odd degrees outside?
Oh, just for a quick fix for my hands, a funky cover for the afor mentioned daughters MP3 player! Grand plans, where oh where is reality?

I was really pleased with myself grin Over the past few weeks I have done some 1 and 2 ply lace scarves and will edge a couplke with beads. These are for presents and will go to England in luggage. At 15 gms max for 2 ply ones (plus beads) I don't think there will be any probs smiley Just got to block them first. I am also doing a crochet cow toaster cover for my cow mad daughter which I found on the net. Been a bit too hot recently for even that sad. I even managed to use my bamboo needles for the scarves without bending and cracking them grin grin

I'm knitting the Ladder Cardigan from Jo Sharps latest book.
I have knit the bolero in bendigos cotton /lycra ?breeze ?harmony ? .
Going thru the stash I found a forgotten few balls of a angora /acrylic mix .... I"m hoping that I have enough of this raspberry coloured yarn to finish .(pefect gauge ,colour )
Cross fingers and toes .
The weather is cool at the moment ..if I finished it today (no hope only started yesterday )Icould wear it ..

Has anyone else knit this ??

Are you sure you want a list of thing I am working on right now?

Well..I will narrow it down to what I have worked on since the New Year..Will make the list a lot smaller!!

1. Baby jumper I am designing
2. Socks for my father for his Birthday
3. Jumper for a friends soon to be 4yo for his birthday
4. Jumper for a friends soon to be 1yo for his birthday
5. A pair of socks for me (pattern secret).

Thats the few things I have been working on since the New Year...Yep..a week in and still all over the place with what I am knitting! lol

1. cabled wrap from an interweave magazine (only just started).
2. 1 ply summer top I started over a year ago - only the straps to go, I'm hopless at finishing stuff, pattern from an early creative knitting.
3. hiking socks from Yarn - 1 sock 3/4 done.
4. scarf
5. cottern top I designed myself which didn't really work and needs something - at the moment in the I can't be bothered too hard basket.
6. bag that just needs felting (really hopless at just fininshing stuff undecided)
7. teddy bear that needs sewing together and stuffing.
8. bolero that just needs some ribbon in the sleeves.

I think thats it - believe it or not but had to have a big cleanout of ufo's before christmas as we just moved, frogged alot of started projects, I get excited and start stuff but I'm extremely bad at sticking with something.

I've given up on the lace scarf. No matter how often I try, the pattern does not fit my knitting. So I am doing "Pompadour", a doll's costume which my daughter finds too much for her. DK on 3,25'a and 288 sts so a looong knit but almost finished the frill on the petticoat.

1. Shawl Collard Coat from Jo Sharp Knit - Issue 1.
2. A Horse from Dream Toys.
3. Laurel Hill from Jo Sharp Book No. 1 (still!!! - started pre-baby no. 3).
4. Baby cardigan with fairisle yolk from Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino to make up (he may be too big to wear it soon).

It doesn't seem like I have as much as I thought now that I've written them down, I think I have another ufo hidden somewhere...

Hi Lisa,
I've made the Laurel Hill jumper about 3 years ago and I love it.  I knitted it in the orange colour from Jo Sharp.  The only thing I don't like about it is that the sleeves are too long.  I should have measured my arm length before I started it, I didn't think about it though because it's never happened to me before.

I always wanted to make the coat too but never got around to it.  At the moment I'm still trying to finish my Rowan cardigan and busy knitting socks and lace.  Plenty of UFO's I have on my list too but eventually I'm sure I will complete them.
Happy knitting everyone!

At the moment I have a dressed Scottish doll, a sideways crochet cardigan, a crochet baby oram cover and a sideways knitted jachet, and have to alter the bottom band on a jacquard long jacket.  grin  As it was black, I had to do it in daylight. smiley I have also another doll outfit to finish which had to be left because of the pain in my hand. Just have to put the bits together, cheesy
