I am wondering if anyone has made this? I believe the pattern is in Elizabeth Zimmerman's Knitting Workshop, and I am considering the purchase.
Since it is entirely different from anything I've ever done - yes, even after half a century of knitting, there is not a creative bone in my body, and I need a pattern - I would appreciate an informed opinion as to the ease or otherwise of following the "recipe".
Is it also possible to make the jacket in adult sizes, using the pattern? - that's what I'd really love to try.

Many thanks for any help.

Hi Maureen,

I haven't made the Baby Surprise Jacket but I'm a big EZ fan! I've made her percentage jumper and loved it.

I found her directions easy to follow and sometimes if felt as if she was standing next to me, watching what I was doing. Then, if I wasn't sure, or made a mistake, her next paragraph straightened me out!

that sounds very encouraging - I think I'll buy the book and try this one. I have the Knitter's Almanac - in fact I keep that one in the glovebox in case I need a knitting "fix" while stuck in traffic - (!! ) - but I haven't actually made anything from it.
Amazon is selling the Workshop book - I think I'll order it. I like the idea of having her leaning over my shoulder in case of need.

Thanks for the feedback.
